Starting in Fes, you will explore its ancient medina, traditional souks, and historic monuments before traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Ifrane, Azrou, and the scenic Ziz Valley.
The adventure continues to the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where you will enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend a magical night in a desert camp under the stars. You will then travel through Todra Gorges, Dades Valley, and the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, visiting Ait Benhaddou before crossing the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
In Marrakech, discover the vibrant medina, historical sites, and Jemaa El Fna square, followed by a coastal excursion to Essaouira. The tour continues to Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, and the Roman ruins of Volubilis, offering a rich mix of imperial cities and cultural heritage.

After picking you up from the airport or your hotel, we begin exploring the historic medina of Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and most prestigious imperial cities. Founded in the 8th century, Fes has long been a center of culture, religion, and learning.
We will discover the heart of Fes el-Bali, the ancient walled medina dating back to the 13th century and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As we walk through its narrow, winding streets, you will experience a living medieval city where artisans continue centuries-old traditions. The medina is famous for its traditional crafts, including leatherwork, pottery, metalwork, and weaving, with craftsmen organized by trade in different quarters.
During the visit, you will also see historic madrasas, fountains, bustling souks, and vibrant squares that reflect the rich architectural and cultural heritage of Fes. After completing the guided tour, we return you to your hotel for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.
We will begin the day with a visit to the impressive Royal Palace of Fes, admired for its magnificent golden gates and detailed mosaic craftsmanship. Although the interior is not open to visitors, the grand entrance and surrounding walls reflect the splendor of Morocco’s royal architecture and offer a perfect introduction to the city’s imperial heritage.
Afterward, we explore the historic heart of Fes by visiting Fes el-Bali, the ancient medina renowned for its brilliant architecture, vibrant souks, and remarkable historical monuments. As you walk through its narrow streets, you will discover beautifully decorated madrasas, traditional fountains, artisan workshops, and lively markets that preserve centuries-old craftsmanship. Fes is truly considered the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco, known for its deep intellectual traditions and authentic atmosphere.
In the afternoon, you will have free time to relax, explore at your own pace, or enjoy a peaceful walk through the medina’s hidden corners. Overnight stay in a traditional riad, where you can unwind and experience genuine Moroccan hospitality in an elegant and serene setting.
After breakfast, we depart from Fes and begin our journey toward the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we cross the cedar forests near Azrou in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you may spot Barbary macaques among the ancient trees.
We continue through Midelt, known for its apple orchards and mountain scenery, before driving past the Hassan Addakhil Dam near Errachidia. The road then leads us through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, famous for its endless palm groves and dramatic canyon landscapes.
We pass through Erfoud, often called the “Gateway to the Desert,” renowned for its fossil workshops and proximity to the Sahara. Before reaching the dunes, we stop at Borj d’Est, a hilltop viewpoint offering spectacular panoramic views and a beautiful desert sunset.
After enjoying this magical moment, we continue toward the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you will spend the night near the dunes, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the Sahara.
After breakfast, we begin exploring the fascinating surroundings of Merzouga and the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi. This day is dedicated to discovering the hidden treasures of the desert and experiencing authentic Saharan life.
We first visit the peaceful Merzouga oasis, where traditional irrigation systems support palm groves and small cultivated fields at the edge of the dunes. We then meet nomadic families living in traditional haimas (desert tents), offering a glimpse into their simple yet resilient way of life in the Sahara.
Our journey continues to the village of Khamlia, known for its rich Gnawa heritage and spiritual music brought generations ago from sub-Saharan Africa. Here, you can enjoy traditional rhythms and learn about the unique cultural history of the community. We also explore the historic Mifiss Mines, once used for extracting minerals, and drive across the vast desert plateau with its lunar-like landscapes.
Later, we visit the serene Tissardmine Oasis, a hidden green spot surrounded by sand and silence. Around mid-afternoon, we return to our accommodation to relax before the next adventure.
In the late afternoon, we ride camels into the dunes to witness a spectacular sunset over the golden sands. As the colors change and the desert grows quiet, we continue deeper into the dunes toward a wild oasis located about two hours away. There, in the heart of the Sahara, we spend the night in traditional bivouac tents. Under a sky filled with countless stars, surrounded by silence and nature, it is truly a magical and unforgettable desert experience.
After breakfast, we leave the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi behind and head toward Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops and desert landscapes. From there, we continue to Tinghir, a beautiful oasis town surrounded by dramatic cliffs and vast palm groves.
In Tinghir, we visit the traditional “foggara” (also called khettara) irrigation system, an ancient underground water channel dating back centuries, which reflects the ingenuity of local communities in managing water resources in arid regions. We will also explore the lush Tinghir palm grove, where thousands of date palms create a stunning contrast against the rocky mountains.
Our journey continues to the spectacular Todra Gorge, famous for its towering canyon walls that rise dramatically up to 300 meters. Here, we take time to relax, enjoy lunch, and walk along the river that has carved these impressive rock formations over centuries.
Afterward, we drive through Boumalne Dades and into the breathtaking Dades Gorge. The Dades River has sculpted extraordinary rock formations and winding valleys, creating one of Morocco’s most beautiful natural landscapes. You will have the opportunity to admire the famous “monkey fingers” rock formations and panoramic mountain views.
In the evening, we arrive at a charming five-star hotel where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, surrounded by the serene beauty of the valley.
In the morning, we begin our journey along the track leading to the beautiful Valley of Roses, a region famous for its fragrant rose fields and traditional kasbahs. We continue to the magnificent Berber village of Boutghrart, where we are welcomed by a local family to share a glass of traditional mint tea and experience authentic rural hospitality.
Our adventure carries on along the legendary “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” a scenic route lined with ancient fortresses, palm groves, dramatic valleys, and desert landscapes. Along the way, we stop to admire historic kasbahs, take photos of breathtaking scenery, and observe nomadic families who still live in caves or simple dwellings in the mountains.
We then arrive in Skoura, known for its vast palm oasis and historic kasbahs, before continuing toward the famous Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has served as a filming location for many international productions, including Gladiator, The Mummy, and Prince of Persia, thanks to its impressive earthen architecture and timeless atmosphere.
After exploring the kasbah and enjoying the surrounding views, we settle into a comfortable hotel where dinner is served, followed by a relaxing overnight stay.
We will start the day by visiting the marvelous Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, an iconic fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site, famously featured in films such as Lawrence of Arabia. Its impressive mud-brick architecture and panoramic views make it one of Morocco’s most photographed locations.
Next, we continue to Kasbah of Telouet, another historic Berber fortress with stunning decorative details and a rich history tied to the Pasha Glaoui family. Here, you can explore the grand halls, courtyards, and intricate mosaics that showcase traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.
In the late afternoon, we begin our journey back to Marrakech, crossing the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters, with spectacular mountain landscapes and panoramic views along the way. Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will be dropped off at a traditional riad, where you can relax and spend the night immersed in authentic Moroccan ambiance.
We will explore Marrakech on foot, visiting its most important historical and cultural landmarks. This includes the winding streets of the ancient medina, iconic tombs and mosques, historic kasbahs, and the famous Jemaa El Fna square, where the city’s vibrant life comes alive with storytellers, performers, and local vendors. Along the way, our guide will explain the history and significance of each site, helping you understand why Marrakech is often called the cultural heart of Morocco. After a full day of exploration and discovery, we will return to the same riad for an overnight stay, allowing you to relax and soak in the city’s unique atmosphere.
We will start in the morning with a scenic drive from Marrakech to Essaouira, approximately a 3 hour journey along beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival, we will visit the Wooden Crafts Museum, housed in a historic palace, where you can admire intricate artisan work and learn about traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.
Next, we explore the Skala of the harbor, a fortified promenade offering panoramic views of the Atlantic coast, nearby islands, and the city itself. The marina’s gates connect the city to the harbor, where lively auctions take place to sell freshly caught fish, giving a glimpse into local life and traditions.
Strolling through the narrow streets of the medina, you will encounter numerous craftsmen working with wood, jewelry, and other materials. Many of these artisans are situated under the bastions of the city, creating a unique atmosphere where history and culture intertwine.
After a full day of exploration and discovery, we will return to Marrakech, where you will spend the night in the same riad as the previous two nights, reflecting on the beauty and charm of Essaouira.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will depart from Marrakech and travel to Casablanca. Upon arrival, we will visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, renowned for its stunning architecture and location on the Atlantic coast. We will then explore the medina, discovering its narrow streets, local shops, and vibrant atmosphere, followed by a visit to the modern districts of the city.
For those interested in souvenirs, we will stop at the traditional Habous Market, where you can browse and purchase Moroccan crafts, spices, and gifts. After a full day of sightseeing and shopping, we will check into a hotel in Casablanca for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will depart for Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, to visit the impressive Hassan Tower, an iconic landmark of the city. Following our visit in Rabat, we will continue our journey to the historic city of Meknes, which flourished during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail and reflects its golden age through grand architecture and monuments.
On the way, we will stop at the nearby Roman ruins of Volubilis, located 27 km from Meknes. Here, we will walk through the ancient city, exploring its well-preserved mosaics, temples, and streets, and gain insight into the Roman civilization that once thrived in Morocco.
After exploring Volubilis, we will arrive in Meknes, where we will take a guided walk through the city. Highlights include the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, El Hedime Square, and the magnificent Bab Mansour gate, renowned for its intricate decoration and historical significance. After a day full of history and cultural discovery, we will spend the night in a comfortable hotel in Meknes.
We will drive you back to Fes, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation or directly at the airport to catch your flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Moroccan journey.
